The business world is an international place. Whether we have colleagues spread out in different parts of the world, customers in other countries or management teams on another continent, it is essential that we can communicate effectively to get the job done. But often the cultural differences we encounter can lead to frustration and, in the worse case, conflict. This has a direct impact on the productivity and efficiency of an organisation.
Key’s training in Cultural Awareness provides you with improved knowledge and understanding of the behaviours, values and expectations of other cultures in order to contribute to smoother working relationships. In addition, the training equips you with strategies for dealing with potential problems and for building on cultural differences to create success.
 
Key's training comes in a variety of forms - workshops, seminars and lectures. We also provide cultural profiling of individuals and teams in order to help people build synergies across borders.
 
Training in culture can take three main approaches
  • a general overview of culture's impact on business behaviour
  • Swedish culture in relation to other cultures
  • the culture of a specific country, such as India, China or the USA
